Congratulations to the Marching Thunderbolts on their competition at Wheaton North High School this past weekend. The band is now class AA champions two weeks running and achieved high honors in music, percussion, color guard and visual movement. The band also outscored all AAA bands and was named grand champion of the entire competition – 4 points above the next highest score. Wish the Marching Thunderbolts luck this week as they prepare for Wheeling. Eyes with pride!

The VJA marching band participated in the Tinley Park Patriot Parade. The parade is honoring First Responders marking the 10th anniversary of the September 11 tragedy.

Congratulations to the Marching Thunderbolts on their successful weekend at Lake Park. The band placed FIRST in class 2A winning top honors in music, percussion and visual performances. The band advanced to finals and placed 3rd overall out of 25 total groups attending. We wish the band the best of luck as they prepare for Wheaton North this Saturday! Eyes with Pride!
